Octomom Nadya Suleman Addresses Rumors About Plastic Surgery, Stripping And Being A Reality TV Star

Nadya Suleman keeps an immaculate house - floors are Swiffered twice within a two hour period! - plays with her children, and has a serene, calm demeanor. At least, this is how she acted during a magazine interview at her new home. Nadya takes times from watching other women Swiffer to address rumors - including that she has had plastic surgery.

On giving birth to eight babies:

It was extraordinarily painful. With that many babies, it fells like your insides are being torn apart. The babies were ripping apart my organs.

On receiving money from the government:

I want to be really clear about something: I have never been on welfare. Ever. I used food stamps for my kids for one year and then stopped because I didn’t want people to think I was taking advantage of the system. I was making good money on my own.

On firing the free Angels in Waiting nannies:

They set me up for failure. Any time I was in the nursery trying to care for my babies, they would be hovering over me, waiting for me to make a mistake with wrapping or feeding or burping. They had ulterior motives.

They actually had foster parents set up. They wanted to take my babies and place them.

On getting her children’s father (whose identity she refuses to reveal) to onate sperm:

Years ago, I said, “Hypothetically speaking, would you ever help a friend have children?” He said he would. And I said, “Then help me.” And he did. I kept going back to him and year after year, he kept helping me.

He was upset when I did it again. He said the same thing everyone else did: “You have six beautiful children - why do you want more?”

[...]Maybe he’ll choose to know them, maybe he won’t. It’s not my choice. I’d love for him to be in their lives.

On dating:

Well, it’s been eight or nine years since I’ve dated or had sex, so I don’t really miss it. And even if I did start dating someone, it would be a long time before anything physical happened. I don’t believe in casual sex.

On her secret crush, George Clooney:

I actually wanted to become a doctor, and it was because of him. I’ve always thought he’s absolutely beautiful.

On allegations that she’s had plastic surgery (she claims her lips are natural):

I had a breast reduction, not an enlargement. I went from a D-cup down to a C before I ever had children.

On having worked as a stripper:

I’ve never worked as a stripper in my life. Absolutely not.

On being a reality TV star:

Absolutely not! I have no interest in being famous. I’d love to vanish from the public eye as soon as I can.

Fun fact: The middle name of each of Nadya’s octuplets is “Angel.” As in “this is a gud angel for a reeality teevee sho!”
