Everyone Bummed They’re Not Invited To Obama’s Passover Seder
9 April 2009, 4:00 PM. By Cindy Casares
Barack Obama is the people’s Prez and, as such, and perhaps just to piss off the Mayflower set, he’s holding the first-ever U.S. Presidential Passover Seder. But not just any Jews can get into the Prez’s Seder. And that has some Washington-area Sons of David a little miffed.
A White House press staffer accidentally forwarded a chain of emails to the press revealing that local “Jewish” from DC and neighboring states, (Northern Virginia, no doubt. They’re so keeping-up-with-the-Kleinbergers.), are wondering why they can’t attend the Presidential Seder. The answer, according to the staff back-and-forth, is that this is meant to be a small, family-style affair. As in: Sorry, but you’re just not as sexy as Rahm Emmanuel.
But what about the poor and disenfranchised you’re supposed to invite to a Seder according to the Wikipedia article we just skimmed? Are there no Jewish homeless people? What about just-above-poverty level Catholic bloggers? We vote!

“What about just-above-poverty level Catholic bloggers?”
Nice! :)
Are you kidding? This may be the most awesome thing Obama has done - talk about being inclusive! On a day - first day of Passover in fact - that Jewish Americans have to listen to Republicans railing on about how this is a “Christian” country, it is like a breath of fresh air to have Barack Hussein Obama host and actively participate in a seder, with his fabulous children and his incredible wife, in the White House. Finally - a President for all of us. Chag sameach - and happy Easter to those who celebrate it. Oh - and to non-believers, you’re welcome too!
