Clinton Laughs As Chavez Gifts Obama Book On Latin American History

As reported earlier, Venezuelan dictator president Hugo Chavez made worldwide headlines for handing U.S. President Barack Obama the book Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent by Uruguayan author Eduardo Galeano, in the middle of the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton was caught, on camera, laughing as the Venezuelan president pulled the antagonizing stunt. Below, the in flagrante pics of an I-told-you-so-Clinton as Chavez hands the book to Obama.

I think whenever a mass murderer and anti Semite presents you with a keepsake, it isn’t inappropriate to release a nervous laugh. In diplomatic circles, that’s considered better form than a punch in the face.
