Robert Pattinson’s First Modeling Shoot = Teehee!

Robert Pattinson wasn’t always the unwashed vampire hero of 14 year olds’ dreams. Nein! Robert was once a baby-faced twinky in heinous boxer shorts, hawking his ass for cheddar in magazine photo shoots. 

The young lady who posed with Robert on his first shoot recalls that he was quite nervous. He probably though he’d seen a ghost.

Lucy Flower, the ghost-face killa who posed alongside Robert, recalls that he was “quite timid” during their shoot. So much so, in fact, that she’s surprised he would go on to become the blood-sucking, tousled-hair lothario we know today:

Frankly, it didn’t click at all when our photographer called me last December to ask if I recognized the handsome Twilight actor getting all that buzz. [Ed. note: We will interrupt to state that, no, we don't believe any human being actually ever talks like this. Onward:] Robert was such a shy, reserved little boy back then, I never would have thought he had that superstardom ahead of him!

You’d be surprised at the sort of career opportunities that open up when one has the ability to unhinge one’s jaw, Lucy. Maybe Robert was so shy back then because he was made to dress like a mime at the beach?

Robert told me he had a little bit of catwalk work but that this was the first time he had ever done a photo shoot with a girl. Also, I don’t believe he was very comfortable with the outfit he had to wear and the fact that he was shirtless. So it’s not surprising that he was so quiet and seemed so nervous that day.
