Selena Gomez Is Not Dating Jonathan Cook. Now All Two Of You Who Knew Who He Was Can Finally Relax.

Lilliputian Disney star Selena Gomez is dating singer Jonathan Cook… according to singer Jonathan Cook. Jonathan heads the band “Forever the Sickest Kids,” which we assume is a band somehow affiliated with cancer-stricken children or somesuch. Noble! Selena, for her part, is like, “Ew” over the rumors.

Jonathan describes his “relationship” with Selena thusly:

We talk on a daily basis, numerous times a day. We just have so much to talk about. It’s been a relationship where you can share stories with someone who actually gets it.

Selena responded to the rumors obviously generated by this comment by taking to her Twitter (everybody’s doing it!) and setting the record straight. Writes Selena:

Two things: 1.  FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS ARE AMAZING! and 2. I am NOT dating Jonathan Cook! I love how just because I’m friends with someone, I’m dating them…ugh sorry I’m venting you guys. You rock.

She’s so sweet even when she’s dissing a foolio over the internet. Aw! Maybe she’s upset because Jonathon told teen mag J-14 that Selena was a cochina:

We bought 50 Jack in the Box tacos and I think Selena ate 26 of them! Kidding!
