snoutbreakIs the media blowing this swine flu thing out of proportion? Of course they are! So far only 50 Americans have contracted the disease and none of them are in danger of dying, but we won’t be denied our good, old-fashioned, American freak out. Also, The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart points out that while 149 people have died so far in Mexico, swine flu is still last on the list of things that can kill you in that country.

    I think Mexicans are freaking out because the flu isn’t common over there. I had an uncle who came over here, got the flu (because of the cold weather) and after he went back to mexico he had it for months.
