UC San Diego Sent Acceptance Email To Rejected Students

logoucsd_4_1_09This is the best April Fools joke we’ve heard all day. The University of California San Diego sent an acceptance letter to all 46, 377 student applicants for the 2009 fall term, even though almost 29, 000 of those had not made the cut. Good one.

About two hours later the administration realized what they’d done and sent a follow up email to 28,889 freshmen applicants apologizing for the mistake. That’s cold. But at least the students can be consoled by the fact that it was UCSD. Zing! Oh, but then you were rejected by UCSD, so yeah. Sucks to be you.

I went to UCSD and trust me kids you better off not having gotten in. Super boring and there’s like 100 Latinos on campus, maybe a handful of black people.
