Former Mexican President Vicente Fox Bitches About U.S. Aid In Drug War, “All I Got Was A Pat On The Back.”
20 April 2009, 7:30 PM. By Camilla Rowan
Ex-President of Mexico and all around hot dude Vicente Fox complained to CNN that during his presidency, in Mexico’s fight against the drug trade all he got from the U.S. were empty promises and pats on the back. Oh Vicente don’t be bitter just because your homeboy Bush stopped returning your calls.
President Fox seems to have a weird love/hate thing going on with Bush. He wrote in his autobiography that Bush had “honored” Mexico by visiting Fox’s ranch there and that he would always consider Bush a friend but he went on to call Bush a “windshield cowboy,” i.e. someone who wears the outfit but doesn’t know how to ride a horse. Love hurts, sometimes.
The comments come after Obama’s recent visit to Mexico, where allegedly a new era in Mexican-American relations was born. Fox then went on to say that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s “pretty words” and Obama’s overtures of friendship just weren’t enough, and what Mexico needed was action, dammit. We’re inclined to agree but we also kind of want to muffle President Fox’s wails for attention. Perhaps with our bosom?
