Hotness: Top Five Latino Facial Hair Trends
26 May 2009, 4:35 PM. By Alex Alvarez
We’ve noticed quite a few facial hair trends worn among Latino men and we decided to run through them real quick in a primer of sorts. You know, since no one asked.
Some of these styles are hot, some not so hot - it’s all a matter of personal preference (ours). We’re huge fans of facial hair, but we tend to like wild, wilderness man beards over immaculately sculpted facial hair. Basically, any sort of facial hair that can double as a snack pantry is a-ok by us.
And look.Fidel is already helping us count them. Don’t keep skipping ahead, compay.
5. Old-Timey Handlebar Mustache
Xenophobic caricature reserved for villainous banditos… or ironic good fun?
4. The Tweezed Brows

Eh, it’s a look.
3. The Soul Patch

We’ve noticed so many young (and not-so-young) Latinos sporting soul patches that we’ve started to wonder if, oneday, Latino dudes all got together behind our back to form some secret society of douchebaggery. And… we hope that’s exactly the case. Confession: We know soul patches are douchey, but we find them super hot. God, we hate ourselves.
2. The Skinny Beard
Get a load of this Bible-loving, horse-wrangling dude. Both his facial hair and his spelling skills are exceptionally amazing.
1. Maximilian of Austria “Whoooosh” Beard

Yeah, he’s hot.

You BAD.
First off, soul patches are super hot. Second, where’s number 2?
I once met a guy with the handle bar mustache. I fell in love. He wore it well.
and I cannot handle the tweezed eye brows on men but only because most of the time they look better than mine. whateve.
