wined_cat_china_5.28.09A winged cat has been discovered in Chongqing, China. Experts believe the two fur-covered, wing-like appendages on the cat’s back were the result of either a genetic mutation caused by chemicals or the result of one embryo having absorbed another in the womb. Either way, the wings are sort of cute and don’t seem to impede the cat’s daily activities in any way.

So the only question left to answer, then, is how would this cat fare in a death match against the elusive chupacabra? Let’s break it down.

Winged Cat

  • Eats little biscuits.
  • Spends its time chilling in a nice Chinese yard.
  • Looks like it should be featured on little girls’ pencil cases.

Chupacabra

chupacabra

  • Eats pets and livestock.
  • Prowls through the wilds of Latin America and the Southern United States under the cover of night.
  • Looks like it should be featured in a low-budget horror movie that touches upon the issues tearing our nation apart - namely, racism and goat suckage.

Our verdict? The winged cat is far more dangerous, because you’d never see an attack coming. It would crawl (or flutter) into your bed at night, swoop in for a little snuggle and, bam!, before you know it you’re an adorable kitten’s midnight snack.

It would be a close fight… especially with the Chinese cat’s kung-fu fighting skills, but the Chupacabra would win. Because of his Mexican Judo background…. cause Judon’t know if he has a knife or a gun!
