Eva Longoria In GQ Mexico: Not Feeling It
28 May 2009, 4:30 PM. By Alex Alvarez
Eva Longoria appears on GQ Mexico’s latest cover and, eh, we’re not exactly feeling her look. She’s giving us the typical bombshell hair / sex kitten pose / blowshop face every actress tends to give when appearing in men’s magazines and it’s all just so very played out and boring.
Compare her GQ cover to the amazingly gorgeous spread she did for Harper’s Bazaar Singapore and you can see how styling - and audience - makes all the difference where starlets like Eva are concerned.
A-list actresses, typically, aren’t styled like sex kittens when they appear on magazine covers because they don’t need the attention and disposable income of fanboys. Instead, they’re styled in fashion-forward clothing and accessories to appeal (mostly) to women and to serve as aspirational models where clothing and style are concerned. And, perhaps because we’re not the target audience for Sex Kitten Eva Grabbin’ Her Tetaballs, we just don’t mind the “hot” Eva Longoria appealing. We don’t find her particularly sexy or attractive or alluring. Having her leer at us from a magazine cover only makes us feel a little awkward on her behalf. On the contrary, when leafing through her Harper spread, we were bowled over by how strong and chic she looked.
So. Which Eva do you prefer? And when will cover stars quit it with the creepy Sex Doll face?

I’d hit it.
Love it. She looks great in latex, and perhaps the author just isn’t familiar with how latex looks when worn? Shiny and sexy; nothing fits like latex.
Maybe the author of this post is gay because this photoshoot was way hotter than the other one.
Maybe the author of this comment didn’t bother to read the article.
