New Photos Of Gael Garcia Bernal With Baby Lazaro Make Us Like Him Again. Kind Of.

It’s amazing how much a teeny little womb goblin can do for someone’s image. Gael Garcia Bernal’s interview in Paper mag left a bad taste in our mouth because he sounded too much like those guys we went to college with who would go off into some pseudo-intellectual diatribe if you asked to, like, borrow a pen. Yeah, we guess maybe it’s kind of like a phallus, dude. You’re right, the world isn’t fair. Especially to people in Ivy League lecture halls JUST GIVE ME A PEN(is). 

But, lo and behold, now we see him holding a little poo bag and we feel a rush of love in our ovaries. Especially since he traveled to Mexico from Spain to introduce baby Lazaro to BFF Diego Luna’s baby, Jeronimo. 

We also felt a pang in our empty heart-hole for Gael’s lady, Dolores Fonzi, because TVyNovelas thinks she could stand to lose a few more post-baby “kilitos.” She’s super skinny. Plus, she just pushed a human being out of her body and is taking care of it pretty much 24 hours a day. And she has to deal with Gael writing short stories about Patalie Nortman and waxing poetic about boots. Cut the girl some slack.
