Happy Birthday Tina Yothers (And Daniel Mauser)

Cinco de mayo is a very important day in Mexican history because it is the birthday of Tina Yothers who played Jennifer Keaton on the 1980’s NBC sitcom hit Family Ties. That time was a golden age when Mexicans gathered around the television once a week to give a belly laugh and raise a tequila to Alex P. Keaton and his young, Republican antics. And one of those families, no doubt, included the Mausers and their eldest son, Daniel, who was also born on this day and is kind of the Mexican Alex P. Keaton, if you think about it. Daniel grew up, of course, to move to America and found the site you are now reading. So, here’s to Daniel. Entrepreneur and first born son of the highly acclaimed Dr. John Mauser. And his very artistic mama, Anna. Feliz Cumpleaños, Daniel. (And Tina.)
