Hugo Chavez seems to think President Obama wants to be part of his book club. Hugo Chavez announced today on Venezuelan television, where he took on the air to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his narcissistic snoozer, "Alo Presidente," that he will gift Obama during the next meeting the book, "What is to be Done?" by communist Vladimir Lenin, founder of the Soviet Union.
"What Is to Be Done?" was a political pamphlet, written by Vladimir Lenin at the end of 1901 and early 1902, which called for the formation of a revolutionary vanguardist party that would direct the efforts of the working class. Basically, propaganda promoting the rise of the masses that lead to the Russian Revolution.
This new offering follows Chavez's last stunt when he embarrassed the American President at the Summit of the Americas last month by interrupting his speech to hand him a book entitled Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent by Uruguayan author Eduardo Galeano.
