The slowdown in the growth of the asian population in the US approximately tracks that of the slowdown in the growth of the hispanic population.

“According to the latest data, the growth of the Hispanic population slowed from 4 percent in 2001 to 3.2 percent last year….
Asian population growth also slowed, from 3.7 percent in 2001 to about 2.5 percent.”

This argues for the validity of the numbers as it’s harder to falsify two such results than one. It also suggests that the factors driving the decrease are not particular to either group.

Who knew? I kept thinking it had to do with a complex variety of factors including greater economic opportunity etc.

if this is true (which I doubt since data is always manipulated) it is going to be detrimental to the economy.

Mexicans sustain this country in so many ways…
