mark_sanchez_gq_lead_5.19.09Mark Sanchez, he of the chiseled features and enigmatic cultural allegiances, has a 70s-inspired spread in GQ that shows us a side of the young football star that we’ve never seen before - a side that wears belly shirts, mesh, and plays an extra on Baywatch.

We have to wonder what audience Mark is shooting for with this shoot - women don’t normally subscribe to Gentleman’s Quarterly and the magazine isn’t explicitly for the gheys, so… Why the belly shirts and sultry (we assume) expression? Oh Mark! You are a mystery.

Now, we don’t know about you, but the first thing we thought when we happened upon these photos was “Kielbasa!” And then, immediately after, “Captions!” We think our Media Editor, Marcelo, came up with a pretty good one below, but surely you can share some of your own? Give it a go.

  1. “the magazine isn’t explicitly for the gheys” .In fact, not ghey fap bait at all. No No. Perish the thought. And there were two (count them) beach babes in bikinis in the album to prove it. Also
