Narco Wars: Suspected Drug Lord Raymundo Almanza Morales Nabbed By Authorities

Suspected drug lord Raymundo Almanza Morales has been snatched - snatched! - by authorities. He is thought to be the leader of the Gulf Cartel and was among and was among the 37 most wanted drug traffickers in Mexico. 

Of course Morales goes by a nickname - what kind of drug lord would he be if he didn’t. “El Gori,” as he is known, had a $1 million price on his head when he was caught. Who knows how much of that money could have gone towards the purchase of a shirt.

His brother, Octavio Almanza, was arrested a few months ago and told authorities that Raymundo was overseeing drug trafficking operations in Belize and Guatemala. Octavio is thought to have been in charge of  the Cancun branch of the Zetas.
