Tyra In Any Language: The Tyra Show Goes Bilingual For The Month Of May
7 May 2009, 5:15 PM. By Alex Alvarez
Tyra Banks, or “La Tyra,” will now have her show, the subtly-named “The Tyra Banks Show,” broadcast in Spanish via SAP until May 29th. Tyra! Tyra! Tyra!
The media mogul says she’s really excited about the decision and that she has been studying Spanish herself since she was a little girl. Also, now she can scream at make silly faces at even more people. Says Tyra, Tyringly:
I’m so excited. My goal for my show has also been to have reach the greatest amount of people possible.
TYRA!
I’ve studied Spanish since I was six years old and it’s my favorite language to speak other than English. It’ll be cool to see myself dubbed in Spanish.
What else do you think Tyra can do to cater to her Latina audience? Besides boycott peanut butter. We have a few ideas:
- Surround yourself with a bevy of scantily-clad women and give away cars by making audience members play corny games.

- Tell us our horoscopes.

- Jackie. Lots of Jackie.

Alex would you like me to buy you a couple jars of peanut butter?
Yes! My roommate has been eating mine. That’s not right, and it’s not ok.
Great! Now my abuelita and I can hate Tyra together.
