White Lounge Club In Malaga, Spain Gives Free Drinks To Women Dressed As Schoolgirls

The superfluously named “White Lounge Club” in Malaga, Spain hosts a “Study Club” party wherein women dressed as schoolgirls receive free drinks. Women’s groups in Spain think the party is sexist and that it promotes the fetishization of underage girls. 

Intrigued, we asked our friend Mark, who is currently residing in and wearing schoolgirl outfits around Malaga, what these parties are like:

Mark: Ok, so I know the douches who organize Estudy Club (for how it’s pronounced). And me and Anna [Mark's friend in Spain.] have often talked about how their parties seem totally demeaning to women.

Alex:  Does every night have a costume theme like that?

Mark: I mean, all the Estudy Club parties are themed. They had Fraternity/Sorority. Noche Arabe. Wet T-Shirt Night. Black y White.

Alex:  And women participate?

Mark: Yes, me and Anna don’t get it. Her ex-roommate [REDACTED, Wet T-Shirt Girl] loved these parties. All girls who wore a white t-shirt to Wet T-Shirt Night got free shots. And they always involve things like jello-wrestling. Stupid shit.

Alex: Is it mostly tourists who go to these or do Spanish girls go and get jello all up in themselves?

Mark:  Estudy Club is all study abroad kids. And then random Spanish-girl tag-alongs. I mean, the guys who run it are totally douchey. [REDACTED, hot douche.]

Alex: That’s the guy?

Mark:  He’s one of them. I wouldn’t specifically cite him. I don’t wanna get on his badside cuz he’s omg so hot! God, what a douche. I think he’s 30. In all honesty, nothing they host is ever really more offensive than what’s offered at most colleges. But, I don’t get why any girl would participate in something like that.

Study Club, or “Estudy Club,” we suppose, has a Mexican-themed party coming up. And you know how we love themed parties. Here’s a taste:

We do wonder, as Mark did, why people would participate in these type of parties, especially women who enter wet t-shirt contests or dress up as schoolgirls. Is it especially fun to have drunk strangers in a smelly dark room stare at your nipples while you sing Spanish pop songs on a stage? Is dressing up in a fake mustache while swigging bottom shelf tequila so inherently hilarious? We usually get drunk fully clothed in the shower while wearing a real mustache, so all this is so very foreign to us.Do share.
