Alberto Cutié’s Big, Gay Wedding Plans

Now that Alberto Cutié has left the Catholic Church, he’s free to marry Ruhama Canellis, whom he’s already announced as his fiancée. So. What does a wedding between a former Catholic priest who has broken his vows and a woman who does dirty things with a man of God on a public beach look like? And what can we expect at the wedding from Alberto and Ruhama’s mothers?
An Episcopal church wedding looks a lot like a Catholic one - long, arduous and with ten million songs and hymns to be muttered under one’s breath while scanning the room for hot people. So, no secret gay orgies in the back room after the ceremony, as far as we know.
Alberto’s mom, who has previously informed paparazzi (those not working directly with her son, presumably) that they will face the wrath of God, is said to have been “nervous” about her son’s plans to introduce her to Ruhama, insisting that Alberto introduce her to the entire family at a formal dinner. Like, you know. Someone who has nothing to hide.
Ruhama, whose been photographed wearing what looks like a giant engagement ring, has her own mom issues to deal with. Mainly, that her propensity to simultaneously air out to and mask her personal issues from the press seems to be genetic. Judith, Ruhama’s mom, remained vague when explaining allegation that Ruhama worked as a masseuse without a license. She also deflecting rumors that her daughter was involved with drugs and said she was excited about Ruhama’s upcoming wedding to Alberto because it proved that love could conquer all, even betrayals of trust and religious commitments. She opined that vows of celibacy were “unnatural.” So romantic.
Speaking of hiding things, TVyNovelas keeps insinuating that Cutié’s picture leak scandal and subsequent conversion were orchestrated to divert attention from an “even bigger scandal.” They then delve into a tangent about the Episcopal Church allowing for openly gay priests. So. What are they trying to tell us?

Everything was fabricated, the picture, the suppose romantic affair, everything. In fact, Cutie is gay and made up the hot pictures with Ruhama to cover up the other scandal. They also used illegal actions to help send to jail an ex lover of Ruhama, Maxi, who is an undocumented immigrant. They look like Bonnie and Clyde without a “muertecito” yet.
Sadly, Cutie is a symbol of the Institution. The Roman Catholic Church is morally and fiscally bankrupt . Alberto Cutie is a pretty face with a collar– Roman or Episcopal– they all buy their collars from the same stores and many flock to them because of what they symbolize for direction . The point of sadness comes from the fact that what ever he is– he is clearly not integrated, not whole and certainly not honest. The fact that this man was advising the faithful is scary– when he can not live his own life with any integrity. The closet is a terrible place to live and hide particularly if you exert so much energy bashing those who are just like you to cover the real you. Alberto grow up– be a man… even if it means being a mans man, just be REAL!
