Daddy Yankee Will Admit To Supporting John McCain Post-Palin, Denies Being Into Santeria

TVyNovelas published a story about Daddy Yankee being a Santero and the famously reclusive and media-shy reggaetonero responded by organizing a press conference at a San Juan hotel to announce that he will sue the publication for defamation. 

The article said the singer (moaner? whatever) became initiated into the sect at a ceremony that took place in Miami, and that he chose to go by the moniker “Oturukpon Ose.”

Said Daddy, perhaps while riding astride a young woman dressed in pleather hotplants:

Fundamentalism aside, you can adhere to Christian beliefs and practice Santeria at the same time. We were Baptised… and protected from the evil eye by various stones set about our crib by our great-grandmother. It’s about culture and tradition as much as it is about religious faith. Plus, better safe than sorry, right? Is incredibly creepy statue of Stella Maris… or Yemaya? Is this candle we’re lighting to Changó… or Santa Barbara? We are tricky and thus will not tell you.
