Eva Mendes Stands Up, Leans Sexily For Her Body

Oh, Eva Mendes. Yes, sure, she’s poised to be he next Meryl Streep (unlike that self-promoting cara de caca J-Lo), and maybe she supplements her inevitable rise to the lower-middle by occasionally covering herself in oil while feeling herself up. So we can’t understand why anyone would think to criticize her body 0f work. 

According to Eva, she’s been receiving shit for the way her body looked in her new Calvin Klein ad campaign. This is news to us, considering we don’t think we’ve ever heard anyone, ever, complain that Eva’s body is anything less than lovely. In fact, we’d go so far as to say her entire career hinges on the fact that no one has a problem with her body. Says Eva:

I don’t have a starving body I have a healthy toned body. I don’t think people should criticize my advert. I prepped for it a lot and I think it’s great. It was in the desert and we were all oiled up for it. That’s my job!

Lies? We’re fairly certain Eva, being a Yank, wouldn’t use the term “advert.” And, like we said, we don’t recall anyone critiquing her body because it’s too big or too small. 

We also think it’s funny that being oiled up in a desert constitutes as her job now. This from Miss “the only thing I care about is becoming the best actress possible.” Okie dokie. But, anyway, good for Eva for defending her fairly universally attractive body in the face of imaginary detractors.
