glenn_beck Glenn Beck is in love....with a Latina? That's right Fox News resident gargoyle with a tie, Glenn Beck, is all atwitter over an open letter written to "Our Leaders" from a woman named Janet Contreras from the great state of Arizona. Beck read the letter as part of his daily scream-a-thon TV show. Ms. Contreras claims to have been a life long Democrat who, in the last election, decided to become a Republican. [Ed. Shah! If you are a lifelong Democrat, would this recent presidential election, of all the elections in the history of America, have made you go Republican? Try again, Fox News.] Her letter basically outlines point for point a platform that would make Sarah Palin proud. Small government, free market, closed borders, family values, yadah yadah. Since Glenn Beck read the letter on Fox, the right wing blogosphere has been panting like a Chihuahua on the sun. It is interesting that she happens to be a Latina. Fox must get a million letters a week from people all over the United States that howl in agreement with their band of neo-con pundits. Of all of these, they pick one written by a woman from Arizona, (the state that gave us both John McCain and Barry Goldwater), and a Latina. What she says is neither new, compelling, or thought provoking. She is just regurgitating the same tired right wing harangue that's been around since the 1980's. That she is Latina however is a clear tactic on the part of Fox. Latinos are the fastest growing segment of the American population and, in some parts of the country, are already the majority. The Republicans know that in order to stay alive they need to reach out to the Latino population and bring them over to their side. What better way to do it than to have a nice, middle-aged Hispanic woman pick up the fallen elephant flag and carry it into the barrio? It is just the latest in a series of pandering moves by the Republicans to show that they are open to everyone. Seeing the symbolic nature of Barack Obama's recent victory, they know that they either let in the non-WASPs, or they are going the way of the Whigs and the Know-Knothings. Glann Beck called Janet Contreras the new "Thomas Paine" and refers to her correspondence as simply, "The Letter"...you know, like "The Bible." In an interview he tells her, "You aren't a Republican or a Democrat. You're an American!" At least as long as someone like her is useful to him. Funny coming from a man who would seek to keep people like Janet Contreras' ancestors on the other side of a giant 20-foot, concrete wall. To read "The Letter" go aqui

I know A LOT of life-long Democrats that voted for McCain in the general election. These were folks that were fund-raising for Clinton and Edwards, but just couldn't get behind Obama. It totally baffled me.

I do happen to agree with Ms. Contreras. But in all the "hoopla" over this letter, my first thought wasn't that she was a Latino. If her heritage makes this some special issue to you... well so be it. I only thought of her as an American -- expressing views shared by many, but not all, Americans..

Oh Mr. Tomas. As a third generation American, I take offense to your last statement. No one wants to keep anyone out of this country. We just want them to come in the front door like civilized human beings, not break out the window on the side porch and slither in like sneaky criminals. If the law was good enough for my great-grandparents to follow, it's good enough for everyone else. Now. As far as Mr. Beck goes...why, why, why did no one complain about him when he was on CNN for two years griping about the last administration? Oh. Nevermind.

Um, no. Just no. First, this country has a long history of denying immigration AND asylum requests to people from various countries facing all kinds of hardships (political, economic, social). And there is no rhyme or reason to the acceptance or rejection of those seeking citizenship. Second, your assertion that they are not "civilized human beings" but rather "sneaky criminals" is patently offensive and a very naive. Why don't you ask someone who's crossed the border if it was easy or fun. I'd bet they would have MUCH preferred come in an air conditioned plane or bus with legal documents and not spend their time in our country fearing immigration. If the system refuses to acknowledge you, sometimes you have to use that invisibility to your advantage.

Hello, everyone. This is Janet Contreras. I would like to set a couple of things straight, if I may. First of all, I am not Latina. My name was awarded me by marriage to a Mexican man. His brother came to work (legally) in this country. LEGALLY over a long period of time, all of his brothers came to this country. Did I say legally? Yes. They then went through the grueling process of becoming American citizens. Secondly, amnesty for illegal immigrants is most offensive to people who come in through the front door and follow the legal process.

A little more clarification, if I may. The letter was written to our nation's leadership. John McCain, Jon Kyle and Ed Pastor are my local representation in Washington. I got no response from them, so I took it to Glenn Beck. Because of him, I found the voices that matched my own. I am not sure how I could have done that without him. I am grateful.

Janet, I read your letter before I ever saw your name. Don't care what your name is, or your background. You are voicing what so many feel. THANK YOU. As for the debate over what your background or nationality- who cares. My grandmother came in legally, in 1911 and became American. My father fought in WWII in Europe for this country, and suffered his whole life for that sacrifice. I lived overseas on my own for a while and saw how the rest of the world lives. It makes me thank God everyday, for what we have here. I kissed the earth when I returned. Our state and federal reps and this character they call president, are turning this country inside out. I pray we can turn the tide back and get rid of him and all his criminal support in Washington.

Thank you. We can make it stop, but we need numbers. Have you signed the letter? Why stop at 100,000? Why not 500,000 or 1,000,000? I know we have the numbers. Have you joined the 912 project so that we can pull all 435 congressional district coalitions together and show them our strength? Please do it now. We plan to march on Washington on 9-12-09. No time to waste.

You are sorely misguided by emotional, or otherwise irrational judgment of this country and especially its immigration history. This country has no obligation to every person on the planet who wishes to come here because their government, economy, or life is less than desirable. As a matter of fact, I do remember hearing that there was a group of people on this continent some 200+ years ago who's lives were more and more unfavorable. Instead of picking up and fleeing, they stood, garnered their own ideas and standards and created a better life. It would be amazing what a group the size of all illegal immigrants to the U.S. could do if they banded together and took care of things in their homelands. I didn't even include in that group the amount of people still in those homelands who feels the same way these Illegal immigrants do. The numbers, with some direction would be nearly unstoppable once on the right path. Also, you are spitting in the face of the millions of legal immigrants who have come here and led productive lives BECOMING Americans. You are right about one thing, it probably takes a lot of work to cross the border illegally but I am not sorry and I do not empathize. These people make these choices knowing the difficulty, the risk, and the possible consequences. Americans should be responsible and accountable for the independent decisions of those people who are not from here or legally allowed to be here.

Ms. Contreras, I will take the title of Bizzaro Glenn as a compliment. As for you not being Latina, I'm glad you brought that to my attention. However having that last name creates the illusion of Hispanicness in the ears of Fox News viewers even if it is only through marriage. My grandparents were conservatives all their lives and certainly there is validity to some of those ideas. That's not the issue. My point is that I find again and again that political ideologues like Glenn Beck, (but for that matter guys on the left too), use the ethnic minorities in this country to their advantage when it fits their agenda. It is insincere because it contradicts their meta-message. Tokenism is a very real thing. Ultimately it is this and not your conservative beliefs that are what this article is about. Thank you for contributing to the debate.

Hey, thanks for your support. We are working to band together. The best thing I have come up with so far is try to get everyone to join the 9/12 project. There are 435 Congressional Coalitions there to populate. Once we have done that, we can all communicate between districts and really make a loud noise. We can make them represent us or we can put them out, because our sheer numbers will scare them. We need a centralized place to communicate, so please get yourselves and anyone you know who agrees with us to go and join so we can move quickly. I need to know who you are so we can know who they are. Please help me get the word out to everyone you know that feels the same way. We will band all of our districts together from the 912 project site for the massive march on Washington on 9-12-09.

For Jack, I saw the segment late on the letter, actually got it in my email later in the day it was read on the air. I did not notice the ethnicity of her last name, I simply read the letter and found that I agreed with it. A couple days later when Mrs. Contreras was on the air, video and all I was not surprised because she was not Latina, because I did not even think about it. My last name is Bierschbach, very German, but my wife is of obvious Italian heritage. It is a shame that you are so close minded to not only argue that the ethnic heritage of her name is an issue, you are a prime example of why it is so hard to get rid of racism. No, I am not calling you a racist, I am saying that a mindset like yours makes it harder to get away from. For Mrs. Contreras, obviously this is the internet, and the person on here going by the name may or may not actually be the writer of the letter, but let's assume you are. Thank you very much for voicing what many of us are thinking and feeling. I myself have recently started to get more vocal in my views, and feel that we must speak out against the strengthening grip that the government is placing around our necks, this administration and administrations past. It is time for us to remind the politicians who they work for, and time for those of us who do not usually speak out, to speak out. Only 20% of the population claims to be liberal, but unfortunately 90% of them are more likely to speak out than any others so they are just louder. Time for us to start shouting.

Of course, I have no actual way of proving that I am, in fact, the author of the letter, nor does it matter. I am just not trying to hide my identity from anyone. The letter identified me quite clearly, because I sent it to our representatives in Washington. The fact that they did not care or care to respond was how it ended up in Glenn's hands. God Bless Glenn for getting the message out. It is so obviously not "my" message but the message of many. Thank you for your support.

It is a curious event when people ignore their responsibilities to the principles that made this country great. The government is accountable to the people, a fact that to many in all levels of government seem to ignore once elected. Ms Contreras, like so many others of us, are tired of a personal agenda that does not reflect the will of the majority, being shoved down our throats, our tax money being thrown the down toilet, and big government trying to take control of all money flow of the country. Now they expect to have dominion over life and death? I used to think of myself as a Republican, don't agree with the Democrat/ Liberal / Progressive thinking. The reality is that I care more for my country than a party, an agenda or political greed. This is OUR NATION and OUR RESPONSIBILITY! labels need to be set aside, and we need to come together to a middle ground, rooted in common sense and fiscal responsibility, where we can once again bring balance and accountability to our nations government. You have my respect and support Ms Contreras.

I think Obama took the election by storm because we had no candidate. I am so angry that John McCain was our pick, and then the whole shred Sarah thing. He won because we did not even believe in our own Republican ticket. It was an awful choice, and I think the Republican voters just laid down. I probably would have been just as miserable if the election had gone the other way. I feel the Party really blew it on picking our candidates.

I think we might be missing the point of the original post: 1. Ms. Contreras' letter is in no way a new opinion (not to offend her- she has the right to express her feelings). Rather it is Glenn Beck's overreaction to the content that is the real issue (and point of Mr. Tomas' post). I know I'm given to hyperbole but come on- the new Thomas Paine??? I think not. 2. Mr. Tomas never played the racist card- he simply pointed out the trend in the Republican party to try and present a more diverse support base (you know- not just rich white males). Am I the only one who remembers when the trotted Bobby Jindal out to comment on Obama's first speech to Congress? Or Sarah Palin as an attempt to capture the Hillary supporters? It's sad to see the Republicans without any real leadership that the party can get behind. Here's to hoping 2012 is more evenly matched.

Forget the fact that Glenn Beck isn't a Republican. Yes Mr. Tomas did play the Race card, because in all the references to this letter, on Fox news and on many sites, he is the only one that mentions the ethnic origin of her name. Maybe they aren't trying to present a more diverse support base, maybe they have a more diverse support base. Why don't we get away from the distinction altogether and just go with the fact that over 100,000 people signed the letter, and that was the number a few days ago, no idea what it is now. Perhaps Glenn's reaction is due to the fact that Conservatives rarely speak out in numbers, it is a rare thing to see, and the comparison to Thomas Paine was because of her obvious belief in the fundamental values this country was built on. Besides, if you would educate yourself, you will notice that he just read the letter first on the air. It was only after he received a slew of emails requesting a copy that he made such a big deal of it. Mentioning Rich White Males, I have seen more Rich White Liberal Democrats than Republicans so let's stop with the stereotypes as well.

We have asked groups to join the 912 coalition to be counted among the conservative voice of America. I am encouraging all groups and individuals to join the 912 project, because we need our numbers to be vast. I would love to see all of us together in one place where we can share our ideas and pool our efforts. There are so many really great groups out there. Can we bring them all together in one place, including yours? We are not suggesting that you would change your group to ours, only that your members would be counted in the totals. Your group would remain in tact, but we could share in your efforts and you in so many others. There are 435 congressional coalition districts that need populating. Your members would be able to talk with the 912 project members in the districts you are targeting, help us vet new candidates, join events and have them join your events.

First of all if you read my post, you would get from the context that 'acting like and American' means respecting other's views and not throwing around names, generalizations or stereotypes. Seems you can't do that. Second, you don't know anything about me, you call me xenophobe, do you realize the definition of that term? Do you even know the stance that I myself have, or the stance that most republicans have (not a republican by the way they just happen to be the horse you liberals love to beat) on immigration? The conservative stance on immigration is not to stop it, only to follow the laws that have been in place for years. Immigrants come to this country legally all the time, no one wants to stop that. What we want to stop is the leaching of our welfare system by people who did not follow the legal process to get into this country. A xenophobe is scare of people outside their own culture, in case you didn't know that. I don't think I have ever heard anyone here, or anyone with a serious opinion on the subject saying we need to keep everyone out. You need to educate yourself on the situation at the border before you judge why some people have a hard stance on illegal immigration. FYI, even President Obama wants those who come to this country illegally to have to go through the process just like everyone else, in his own words "Pay taxes, learn english, and get to the back of the line behind people that have come to this country and applied for citizenship legally". I applauded that for your information.

Anyone who uses the phrase, "act like an American" is by definition a xenophobe. You see, I don't categorize human beings by where they happened to be born, as if they had any control over that. And as for familiarizing myself with the situation on the border, I happened to have been raised on it, so I probably know more about the relationship between the first world and the third than most of the idiots who listen to Glenn Beck. It's so easy to say, "come in the legal way" until you stop to consider that laws are written to favor those in power. And, my good sir or madame, the lowly, brown folk have never been in power. And if people like me don't stand up to protect them, who will? Certainly not Glenn Beck or any of the other spoiled Americans who have no earthly idea what kind of squalor it would take for someone to leave everything they know, everyone they love, to risk their lives to go find work in a foreign place where they are considered no better than a cockroach. I never said Barack Obama was a genius on this issue, either, so quoting him does nothing to dissuade me in my opinions.

I find it tragic that the conversation is even rolling in the race muck. The subject was illegal immigration. My husband immigrated LEGALLY and that was after we were married overseas, and it was still a tough process. My grandmother immigrated LEGALLY, and because she was IRISH, was spit on and had great difficulty getting a job in the early 1900's. People HATED the Irish, they put up employment signs with adage, "No Irish Need Apply" The ONLY advantage she had when she came here, with nothing but a dream and the clothes on her back -was that she spoke English. Unfortunately for her it was with a heavy brogue. When she finally could get a job, she worked 3 jobs to support herself. Every person that immigrates legally to this country is at the bottom rung and has to work it out. My neighbors are from Angola. They are BLACK, and immigrated LEGALLY. They have had a tough time as every immigrant does. One of their daughters (age 16) told me she kissed the earth when they came back from a visit to Africa. She has a great respect and admiration for this land and will be a success because of her attitude. They have worked hard, and they own a little house and their daughters are going to college now. Illegal immigrants are a greater burden on our society than we can count. Legal immigrants are an asset, and they respect our LAWS and are grateful to live here in this BLESSED country. How can we begin to have respect for people who sneak in over the border, or even fly in and overstay a visitor visa? They come with the predisposition that our laws are wrong. How can we believe that they will become law abiding citizens if they start out breaking the law? WHO CARES WHAT RACE THEY ARE!! They break our laws and that should not be tolerated.

Obviously Miss Casares, you have your opinion and I have mine. You choose to make up your own definitions of words, that's fine. That's what close minded people do to prove their own argument. Again you missed my point. I am not talking about everyone else around the world when I say act like an American. I am talking about people who live in this country, Americans, who belittle other Americans for their beliefs. That is not what we are supposed to be about. This country is founded on the belief that every voice is just as valid as the next, and that no one should be derided, or persecuted for said beliefs. You missed it twice now so I don't expect you to get it this time, no worries. As for the situation on the border, I am not talking about the circumstances of those living in Mexico. I am talking about tunnels that can be used by terrorists to enter this country undetected. I am talking about drug runners that use our weak border to bring poison into this country. I am talking about Mexican criminals that routinely come across our border and kidnap American citizens. Did you know that Al Qaeda leaders have threatened to bring anthrax into the U.S. through tunnels that cross the border? Or do you even watch anything about events outside your own little world? Do you know anything about the 6000+ U.S. nationals that are being held in Mexico? How about the Mexican military shooting at State Troopers on U.S. soil to protect drug runners that were trying to escape U.S. authorities? There are many more reasons that the borders need to be stronger than just stopping illegal immigration, but Liberals want so much for us just to talk about that, and throw around words like racist and xenophobe. Enjoy your day, your week and your year, I am done beating my head against the wall of your single minded logic. I won't change your mind, and I don't have to, you are not the one in charge. Best wishes.

WTF?? "mexican criminals that routinely come across our border and kidnap american citizens" Boogeyman mexicans? "6000+ U.S. nationals being held in mexico" A few in prison maybe, the rest are in cabo or puerto vallarta, "mexican military shooting at state troopers on U.S. soil to protect drug runners that were trying to escape U.S. authorities" borderline retarded. I suggest you watch something other than fox news and glenn beck for immigration issue information, and the reason anti-immigration groups are often labeled as racists is because anti-immigrant groups are filled with racists, go to any anti-immigrant or close the border website on the web and you'll see that.

Did you even bother to check those stories Mr. Guest. Just google drug cartels kidnapping Americans, you will find reports from ABC news, Washington Post, San Diego News papers, and on and on and on. As for the other, google Mexican Military crossing U.S. border, lots of news articles about that too. I don't just get my news from FOX, I actually open my eyes and read. Try it sometime, you might actually learn something.

Did I bother to check those stories? no, why would I? you posted that crap you need to provide links from reliable sources Mr. digruntledpatriot. You try googling myths about immigration or who really profits from illegal immigration. I have no doubt americans have been kidnapped by mexican drug cartels, the vast majority of whom were involved with the drug running buisness, you make it sound like they are kidnapping innocent people. Mexican border patrol and American border patrol have had a lot of issues with each other, If you think Mexican border patro is actually working to get illegal immigrants into the U.S. you are an idiot. I suggest you stop watching the Faux news channel and reading conservative websites and try opening your eyes.

Yeah I tried to provide links but for some reason it would not submit. Maybe there were too many. Fact of the matter is there are a lot of cases where the kidnapped have nothing to do with the cartels, they are kidnapped for ransom. But whatever you say, you tell me to watch something other than Fox news, and read something other than conservative websites. These reports are on everything from ABC news to the Washington post. You say I should open my eyes, but you are unwilling to even look it up for yourself. I am done with narrow mindedness, live in your bubble, but try to keep the name calling to yourself, on second though, go ahead with the name calling, it makes you look so much more intelligent (sarcasm for you, cause you might not get it). By the by, like I said, I don't watch just Fox, or read just conservative material, I am not a Republican or a conservative. Have a nice day though.

On second thought you have convinced me what I should write about tomorrow. Visit me at http://disgruntledpatriot.wordpress.com/ tomorrow afternoon sometime. That way this page can try to stay on topic, and you can have all the links I have space to provide. You can also follow your own advice and look outside your own comfort zone of biased media and maybe learn something.

Yeah people are kidnapped in mexico, central and south america(and all over the globe) for ransom all the time, I often hear about these reports on ABC or the Washington Post, but what does it have to do with illegal immigration. Im not opening my eyes because I refuse to find a link for you that has nothing to do with illegal immigration? uh... ok, and when did I resort to name calling?? If I'm living in a bubble you're living in a snowglobe. Of course you're not a republican or a conservative, neither is Bill O'reilly he's a independant "traditionalist"(sarcasm for you, cause you might not get it). Have a wonderful day though.

And like many others you failed to get my point. I was not talking about illegal immigration in the post you replied to, I was talking about border security. Name calling, yeah you did it the offhand way, "if you believe blah blah blah, you are an idiot". Love how people do that then claim all innocent. Not a 'traditionalist' or an independent either, I am an American, who does not like political parties, and have views that cover a wide variety of issues that cannot be pidgeon holed into one category or another. If you do visit my site, please at least argue with me about the same topic that I am arguing about. Illegal immigration and border security are two totally different thing, that sometimes get linked together, but since I did not talk about immigration let's stick to the point. Leave this page to it's topic, which it has gotten way off, and if you want to rant come to my page, but there stay on topic I don't like to censor.

No, I'm not going to "visit" you on your clearly CONSERVATIVE blog(FFS you have a link to Glenn Becks blog and a link to a global warming skeptic page), on a friday no less. I often do look outside of my comfort zone, Iv'e even seen Glenn Becks blog and its good for a few lulz and a look at what right wing nut jobs blog about but it's really not something I enjoy. Let me guess... you're also a christian right?

There you go with your assumptions again, you won't even allow for the possibility that there will be facts there, because you think it is a conservative blog. Did you read the first page? Would it surprise you that I believe is some gun control? How bout limits on abortions? Would it surprise you to know I am strongly against prayer in school? I am pro choice, and I believe in conservation, but I don't believe in 'Climate Change' being man's fault. I think we need to get back to the Constitution, which if you are an American you should too. No I am not a christian, I link to Glenn Beck because he is one of the few on TV that are willing to point out the problems with both parties. I link to a skeptics handbook on global warming, because it proposes scientific facts that show anthropomorphic global warming is fraudulent science. You took one look at the links, and you dismissed it didn't you? Yeah you did, not saying I am surprised, it is how liberal's operate, or are you not a liberal? If not I am sorry for saying that really. Thanks for visiting once, but no thank you for judging without actually taking in the context, and reading what is there. See how hard it is for people to dismiss labels and stereotypes? You read a couple links, and you have decided without question what I am. Nice man, America's work is cut out for her it is just as bad as people say it is. Oh, before you take a shot, I am not a Libertarian either, I HAVE NO PARTY, I am an American.

Ok so what do kidnappings for ransom in Mexico or any other country have to do with border security? and the name calling? I'm sorry but if you believe border patrol is helping illegals get into the U.S. then... well maybe "idiot" was a little harsh but thats not a very smart belief on that subject. Iv'e met Illegal aliens and they would MUCH rather be caught by U.S. porder patrol than mexican border patrol. You may not consider yourself a conservative or like to be pigeon holed into a party but by reading your comments and part of your blog and links....well as they say if it looks like a duck, qualks like a duck and walks like a duck...

Really? What do they have to do with border security? If a member of a Mexican Cartel can come to this country, kidnap a U.S. citizen, then take them back to Mexico, that has everything to do with border security, it means it is lax. I never said border patrol is helping anyone get into the country, never said it, and I don't believe it, you said it under some assumption you made. As for the rest, you should read it all, cause there are a lot of my views that are decidedly not shared by conservatives. The links by the way, are short because the blog is new, and a blog/news show/etc does not get linked to my page unless the subject shows objective thinking, as in looks at an issue from both sides. It is hard to find those so I think the links will remain short. Also not there are links to the founding documents, which no matter how you label yourself are important papers and should not be dismissed.

I did read your blog and checked out your links, and man, whether you admit it or not you lean to the right. You want to "get back to the constitution" and I'm not American if I don't?? U.S. Constitution is well over 200 years old and has been ratified tons of times. Do you want to go back to the original version and just use that one? I honestly believe Glenn Beck is a crazy wing nut and I do believe humans are at least partially responsible for global warming.

Yeah, back to the constitution, as it is now. We are moving away from it more and more, but you won't be convinced by facts, that's why they call it ideology. Read the blog tomorrow or not, but it will all have facts. Just like the facts against man made global warming. But you probably won't read about them either, its easier to have your ideas spoon fed to you than forming your own based on actual fact. We have hijacked this page enough, if you want more you will just have to comment on my blog, but like I said there, keep it on topic and I will be willing to have intelligent conversation with you there, but you gotta open your mind to reality on some of this stuff, cause if you are going to deny what is happening right in front of you then we won't have much to talk about. Good night.

I honestly have never heard of a drug cartel coming into the U.S. kidnapping an innocent American and taking them back to mexico for ransom, while it's physically possible it would be incredibly stupid, News networks would be all over it, Mexican government would put even more pressure on the cartels it would be an overall nightmare for them. Kidnapping is BIG buisness in Mexico and other central and south america countries and it would be incredibly stupid to just grab anyone. The kidnappers chose there targets very carefully and are almost always Mexican nationals living in Mexico.

I'm telling you, I will give you all the links to all the news reports you need, it is happening. If you want to dismiss it after you see the reports, numbers, pictures, and eye witness accounts then that is your right, but I can't do it here so you can either wonder, or you can visit tomorrow. Now really, we need to stop here, this blogger is going to be ticked when he sees how much this has gotten off track.

I looked up "cross border kidnappings" and okay you're right, It has happened and seems to be on the rise, even though most of the people kidnapped are involved in the drug buisness it still isn't right and needs to be dealt with( and by the way I'm all for strong border security and I'm not for wide open borders, but i am against most anti-immigrant groups). Seems to me most scientists believe global warming is real and whether its partly caused by humans or not is almost irrelevant, the need for alternative fuel sources is only going to get greater. I could drop links on here of scientists proving global warming is at least partially responsible by humans but I'm sure you would dismiss them like I would dismiss any article saying humans have nothing to do with GW. I don't have my beliefs "spoon fed to me" and you are not going to spoon feed me yours. Good luck with your blog but no, I'm not going to join you on it. You have your beliefs and i have mine and we are not going to convince each otherwise, anyway you're right, this has gone way off track, final post.
