On this day in 1901, 19 year-old Pablo Picasso had his first show in Paris. Picasso first went to Paris from Barcelona in 1900 for the World’s Fair. He stayed for two months and immersed himself in the bohemian scene including the night-clubs and dance halls of Montmartre. Le Moulin de la Galette, his first Parisian painting, is considered a “startling production” for a young man of nineteen. But it’s his self-portrait, above, created in 1901, that shows us he once had hair. Those were the days.

Ohhh,,,,Picasso is NOT Van Gogh, which I assumed from the picture above.
Okay, I don’t consider him Latino. Are we defining Spaniards as Latinos? I’m confused, I thought it referred to Latin America and the U.S.
