thumb-rimes_cibrian_us_mag_june_09_2Eddie Cibrian’s wife of eight years, Brandi Glanville, claims country singer LeAnn Rimes has been stalking her husband in the months following their affair. She also says that LeAnn very deliberately decided to seek Cibrian out at a recent Lakers game  during a weekend the singer was supposed to be performing in Florida. Two weeks before the game, Cibrian had changed his phone number due to the number of calls and texts Rimes had been sending him.

Glanville does not mince words when it comes to what she thinks about Rimes:

LeAnn is a stalker. She refuses to leave us alone - it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance. LeAnn is so desperate for fame she has left hr self-respect in the gutter to get what she wants. She’s hurting my family and messing with the wrong mom.

And, you know, if this is true: Wow. How incredibly stupid and hurtful. But it actually takes three sometimes, and perhaps publicly referring to the “other woman” as a stalker while your cheating husband thinks it ok to be photographed smiling and joking with her in public is not the wisest course of action. You best believe that if we felt we were being stalked by someone, we would not stick around and smile at them.

Anyway. LeAnn has apparently been described as having been “very, very nice” to Glanville while she and Cibrian were shooting Northern Lights. Glanville and Cibrian even invited Rimes and her husband, Dean Sheremet, out on a double date. Glanville recalls telling Rimes that she and her husband were big basketball fans and had season tickets for the Lakers. Glanville says she remembers Rimes professing not to be a fan of basketball - Which is interesting. …Aaaand also makes our jaded asses think this whole thing might have been staged from the get-go because that is altogether too convenient and we fine it extremely odd that Glanville would be so open in talking about all this to a weekly.

What do you guys think?
