Earlier this month, the Spanish press went ahead and published various bonertastic photos of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and various guests hanging around his Villa Certosa in various states of undress. El Pais defended its decision to run the photos despite the fact that Italian media outlets were banned from doing so because they claimed it showed an abuse of power on Berlusconi's part(s). He's been accused of flying his guests in on the government's dime and aircrafts.
Now, thirty women hired to attend several of Berlusconi's private parties at his mansion in Rome and the Villa Certosa have been called in for questioning. Additionally, a businessman named Giampaolo Tarantini has been called in on suspicion of helping to provide Berlusconi with prostitutes for his parties.
Just this week, photos emerged of models Lucia Rossini and Barbara Montereale taking pictures of one another in what is believed to be a bathroom in one of Berlusconi's residences. Montereale claims another woman - Patrizia D'Addario - joined them for dinner and was paid 1,000 euros to sleep with Berlusconi. Patrizia says she did indeed sleep with the PM and that she shot a secret video in his bedroom.
Montereale adds that, while she herself was never paid for sex, she was given an envelope full of money by the PM after telling him that she was having financial troubles raising her child.
She also claims to have lots of photos and video evidence of the goings-on at Berlusconi's home and has been open about describing the women involved:

The majority of them were foreigners ... Slavs, Romanians, something like that. I don't exactly know which countries, but they were girls from the East. I knew that from their accents when they spoke Italian. They seemed very comfortable with the prime minister and in fact they called him Papi [Daddy]. They were in competition with each other as to who could be closest to him. They were the same girls who appeared in a video which was being circulated in which they dressed up as Father Christmas.Sounds like our family Christmas parties, only slightly less awkward. For her part, Montereale says she's doing all this so that "the truth can come out" regarding Berlusconi's irresponsible spending and possibly illegal activities. Can you imagine what sort of parties Hugo Chavez might be throwing (we imagine bounce houses and coca leaves are involved)? Or the sort of sleepovers President Lugo orchestrated? Or President Kennedy? Or the fact that Trujillo didn't even have to pay for women he wanted; he merely snatched them up? There's nothing new about what Berlusconi is doing. But we're glad that a man abusing his power is being brought to justice during his term.
