Padre Alberto Cutié graces the latest cover of People en Español, along with that Roomy Cannelloni he married. He talks about his recent wedding and what it feels like to betray your Church, clergy and fans in order to marry the human equivalent of watching paint dry. On the wall of a confessional that smells like sex and salty-sweet regret. (Turns out, according to Cutié, it feels pretty good.)

Cutié says that his wedding to Ruhama was basically the wedding of his dreams and that, like, he only wanted to be a priest as a teenager. So that phase didn't even really count:
The wedding was, really, the wedding of my dreams. All my life, I thought I'd get married. When I was young, I thought about being married and having kids. I didn't even think about becoming a priest until I was a teenager.Teenagers! Always doing weird, rebellious things like wanting to dedicate themselves to God and live a life of celibacy and wearing boring clothes. Cutié also says he had no idea that his relationship would play out so publicly and that is biggest mistake was to have "waited." Patience, you see, is a virtue best enacted by rolling around on a beach and placing one or both hands down a lady's bathing suit.
