Bishop Francisco Barbosa Suspended By Pope Benedict XVI For Having Gay Sex With Convicts

Uruguayan Bishop Francisco Barbosa da Silveira of Minas, (pictured), has turned in his resignation to Pope Benedict XVI after two of his inmate ex-lovers blackmailed him with a cell phone video of the threesome’s homosexual escapades. Bitches, man. The resignation comes after Pope Benedict XVI suspended Barbosa in accordance with article 401.2 of the Code of Canon Law, in which clergy “are urged to submit the diocesan bishop’s resignation of his office when illness or other grave cause reduce his ability to perform.” But did he not perform on that tape? According to Uruguayan newspaper El Observador, this is “the first time in the history of the Church in Uruguay that a bishop has had to resign over issues related to his private life.” If these pictures had been taken on a beach with a woman or, you know, some altar boys, that would have been another story. But, as it stands, Bishop Barbosa had a thing for dudes. Adult dudes. And, so, he is Audi 5000.
