picture-4The 4th of July, as you may know, is tomorrow. It is a day that we celebrate the birth of this great nation by consuming nitrates, singing nipples by leaning too close to open flames, and vomiting in three colors.

To help you celebrate, we’ve collected four different drink recipes that we think you’ll enjoy:

Red-Headed Slut

Ingredients
5cl (one part) Jaegermeister
5cl (one part) peach schnapps
Cranberry juice

Directions
- Combine Jaegermeister and schnapps in glass full of ice.
- Add cranberry juice to fill to top; stir as necessary.

Dirty White Mother

Ingredients
1 1/2 oz Brandy
1/2 oz Coffee Liqueur
Light Cream

Directions
- Pour brandy and Kahlua into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice cubes and stir.
- Float cream on top and serve.

Blue Hawaii

Ingredients
3/4 ounce light rum
3/4 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce blue Curacao
3 ounces pineapple juice, unsweetened
1 ounce Sweet and Sour

Directions
- Combine all ingredients with ice, stir or shake, then pour into a hurricane glass with ice.
- Garnish with fruit slice or mini umbrella.

Fireworks

Ingredients
4 oz Champagne
1/3 oz Gin
1/2 oz Tangerine Schnapps

Directions
Pour into a champagne flute, garnish with a twist of orange, and serve.

Personally? We’ll be sticking to lukewarm Tecate and, of course, a Cuba Libre. Or six. That’s just how we celebrate.

I think a better name for that would be a black Russican.
