Guanabee Commenter Shout-Out: We’re All Mingling Bilingually On Your Lawn
24 July 2009, 6:00 PM. By Alex Alvarez
And so another week wraps itself up, walks out onto its front porch, tacks up a sign in order to alienate half the neighborhood, then sits in an empty wading pool with a shotgun in its lap, waiting.
The weekend, you see, is going to be all sorts of illegal - due in no small to the fact that today, children, is National Tequila Day. And we’ve heard it on good authority that folks down in Azle, Tejas celebrate this day by taking a ceremonial dump on a neighbor’s lawn. Can you smell that? That’s the pungent aroma of celebration.
In that spirit, this week’s commenter shout-out goes to none other than LiddyLiddy, who is well aware that resistance is futile in the face of cute little rhymes:
Re: Azle, Texas Homeowner Displays “Hispanics, Keep Out!” Sign
Resistance is useless, your signs are worthless and portray nothing but your ignorance. We are bilingual and we are ready to mingle and we are here to stay baby.
Stick around because we’ll be posting this weekend. Hungover! And chock full of regret. Won’t you join us?
