Jessica Simpson Is Not An Indian Giver, But She Is Politically Incorrect
28 July 2009, 4:37 PM. By Cindy Casares
We will be the first to admit that we have used the very P.I. term, “Indian giver” more than once in our young lives. (Not so much in the last, say, 15 years, but, you know, moreso back when we was a poor, black child in the hills of Mississippi.) Maybe the fact that we are mestizo gives us free reign? Anyway, “blonde”-ass Jessica Simpson will not get away with it. We predict all hell to break loose from the video below of her telling a pesky TMZ paparazzo that she will not take back the $100, 000 boat she gifted recent ex-boyfriend Tony Romo BECAUSE SHE’S NOT AN INDIAN GIVER. Ohhhh, she will pay dearly for that! Maybe. Anyway, for future reference, here is a list of other terms you may or may not realize are racist and/or bigoted:
- “Gyp” As in, “He gypped me out of ten dollars.” Gyp is short for gypsy. It refers to the belief that all gypsies are thieves. In Europe, it’s as offensive as saying, “He jewed me.” Wow. People say that?
- “Nigger rig” We really don’t have to explain what’s wrong with this one, do we?
- “Chinese fire drill.” Running around your car like an idiot is not a nice way to refer to our friends from the Far East.
- “Samoas” Not okay when you’re referring to Girl Scout Cookies.
- “Mexican Air Conditioning” Not cool to say when you blow out a sneaker.
- “Shyster”Also referring to Jews ripping you off. Not cool.
- “Gerri-rigged” or “jerri-rigged” This one was news to us. Apparently jerri was the derogatory word for Germans in WWII. And all this time we thought it was the polite way to say “nigger rigged.”
- “Gay” as in corny. It’s not cool to equate homosexuality with cornball.
- “Hooligan” Apparently means drunken Irish youth. A London paper in the 1800’s coined the term after a troublemaking family of immigrants named the Houlihans.
And now, Jessica Simpson’s ignorant gaffe against one-half of our forefathers.

And lightning struck once, and lightning struck twice
And I said “If there’s a God, He sure ain’t nice”
And Chuck said “God is an Indian giver
I don’t trust nothing but the Mississippi River”
Mierda…..after reading ur list, my politically incorrect ass needs to shut the f*ck up. Just this w/e I jokingly yelled at my brother, “Was that a Portuguese shower?” He was in & out in under 10mins. That little huevon better not rat my ass out.
What about “Mexican Roadblock”? I use that one all the damn time when on the highway and two cars are side by side and going the EXACT SAME SPEED for miles and miles and no one behind them can pass. Don’t know where that one originated, but it’s been used by most every race I know when pissed off on I-35 about the fool who doesn’t realize the left lane is for passing.
Good to know I’m not the only one seeing that on I-35. Except I call it the Waco Roadblock as that is where it typically happens to me.
It’s so pathetic how sites like this waste their time making such a big deal over a meaningless comments Jessica Simpson made! Why does everyone play that card???? Terms like Indian giver or nigger-rigged have been said for years and it will be used again for many more years! Get over it!!!!! Just because a celebrity says it, people make a big damn deal over it. For those who are truely offended by that comment, I’m sorry, but it’s stupid to get all defensive over!
Here at work we us the term “Afro Engineering” to try and sound more P/I, but then again I work in a feild dominated by Whiskey Tangos
