Julieta Venegas Is A Needy Bipolar Nymphomaniac, Says Fired Former Employee

Jordi Alcobe Fierro was, he says, fired as Julieta Venegas’ bassist without reason. He’s since sued the singer for vacation time and overtime wages he believes he is owed. So, while that’s going on, he’s decided to help his case by making unfounded allegations about her mental health to tabloids. Which is, of course, a wise course of action if ever there was one. 

Jordi says he worked as a bassist in Julieta’s band for six years from the time she was an unknown going through “a rocker phase.” He recalls that, in the band’s early days, Julieta told her bandmates that she was unable to pay them because she was not reimbursed for her gigs. Jordi later discovered that she’d been lying to them in order to keep all the money she made to herself. 

In fact, she didn’t begin paying him until after she began to sleep around with various men who, Jordi insinuates, had a hand in helping her career… even though she was married to Los Tres band member Alváro. He says that Julieta’s desire for fame trumped her need for artistic expression (or marital fidelity), so she gladly traded in her rocker persona for what Jordi refers to, likely derisively, as “fresa pop.” He says she would “throw herself on anything that moved,” even cheating on a Spanish boyfriend while she and her band were living in his home for free. Jordi matter of factly points out that Julieta is “not exactly pretty” and that her attitude makes her even less attractive. Especially given she’s “rude, bossy and bipolar.” Well, in our experience, guys really tend to go for ugly, rude, bossy, bipolar girls while all the marginally pretty, rude, bossy, bipolar girls are left hallucinating in their bathtubs on Friday nights. 

Jordi also calls Julieta two-faced for her treatment of Paulina Rubio. He says she would always make fun of Pau’s singing voice (”Which is rich,” he adds, “because Julieta sings horribly.”) until the two recorded a duet together and Julieta acted as if she and Paulina were the best of friends. 

Soooo. Let’s see if we can get all of this straight. Julieta is: Entitled. Self-absorbed. Hypocritical. And obsessed with fame.
