Iiiiinteresting: Penelope Cruz Wants Kids, Does Not Want A Husband

Penelope Cruz, whose next cinematic masterpiece is a G-Force, a film about fighting rodents, says she is a very maternal person and would love to, someday, be a mom to her own little Sienne McKenzie or Sunshine Chai Latte. 

However, the lovely star of Vera Carolina Santander has said that she doesn’t quite believe in marriage and doesn’t necessarily need a husband in order to have a baby:

I want to have kids someday, but not right at this moment. When I do it, I want to do it well. I want motherhood to be my life’s greatest project. I’m not sure if I believe in marriage, but I do believe in family, love and kids.

While we do think it’s nice that a prominent Hispanic womb-man has stated that she doesn’t feel the need to get married to necessarily find joy or contentment (we all know how well that sort of thing has worked out for people like Niurka and Ninel Conde and Jennifer Lopez), we can’t help but feel compelled to ask Salma what she thinks about this. Just, you know. For no reason. As a friend. Just to, like. Get her opinion on it. Cough.
