Angry Latina Watch: Salma Hayek Is Totes Jeals Of Jennifer Aniston’s Emmy Nomination

Salma Hayek is so enraged over Jennifer Aniston’s Emmy nomination for her guest spot on 30 Rock that she’s been swearing in Spanish. Dear God, it’s just like those bad, bad men in Westerns.
An “inside source” (Valentina Pinault) says that it isn’t that Salma has anything against Jennifer Aniston, it’s just that she feels her own guest appearance on the sitcom was as good as Jen’s, if not better. The source also insinuated that Aniston is not deserving of her nominations, given that “it’s like the last season of Friends, when she won just because it was the last season.”
Of course, it’s important to keep in mind that - and, yes, obviously, this is only our opinion, but it does happen to be the correct opinion - Salma Hayek is not exactly a terrific comedic actress. She doesn’t have a firm grasp on good timing or smooth delivery, something that is especially evident when she’s forced to act alongside an effortless comedic actor like Alec Baldwin. Dudes, you guy(s) even said it yourselves! And, sure, Jennifer Aniston always plays the same exact person (with the exception of, what, The Good Girl?), but at least she’s somewhat good at it. Sure, not Emmy-worthy, but. Since when are entertainment awards shows indicative of any actual talent, anyway?
Still, why anyone had to include the detail that Salma was screaming in Spanish is still beyond us. Maybe she was generating interest for Bandidas II: Please, Never.

It was a one time appearance, and she’s not that great of an actress. She’s famous for her looks, not her talents.

Ya’ll are crazy! Salma’s appearance on 30 Rock was hysterical and Jennifer’s sucked. Couldn’t disagree more about Salma’s comedic timing, she more than held her own against Alex Baldwin.
Jennifer aniston is already an emmy and golden globe winning actress in the comedy genre! - i don’t see why there should be a problem - shows that jen aniston is an accomplished comedic actress - maybe mrs Francios - Henri - Pinault is a bit jealous!!!!!!!!!!!
Salma is a great businesswoman. She got that from her wealthy family. She is beautiful and smart, but not necessarily a good actress. Frida was NOT that great, it was just a very ORIGINAL movie, and Salma has charisma that makes her stand out. But her acting is mediocre and she is certainly not a comedian. It is great that as a Latina she’s made a lot of progress, we are all proud of her, but get back down to the ground, she’s got a long way to go. Jennifer has WON already many awards and if people criticize her acting it’s only because they are bitter that she’s found the courage to grow professionally despite the shame of having been married to such an IDIOT. Salma should be grateful for what she’s accomplished and learn to respect the accomplishments of others who deserve it. Her beauty and wits do not outsmart the discerning public.
