"And I'll miss you most of all, Scarecrow."

Sarah Palin announced today that she would be stepping down as governor of Alaska at the end of the month. Here she is seen hugging Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell who will take over her post on July 25. Palin’s actions shocked Republicans as she was supposed to serve until the end of 2010, but it was no surprise to those of us who have grown accustomed to watching the party slowly self annihilate. No one knows whether she is stepping down to ready herself for the Presidential race or to be a TV personality, but you know which one we’re hoping for. Jackie Guerra, get your pitch ready.

  1. Isn’t she also still under investigation ??

  2. Under investigation for what? I hope and pray that she doesn’t run for President. I don’t understand how people can support this woman.
