Shakira’s Cousin Carolina Name Receives Messages From The Virgin Mary

Hips, as we know, do not lie. And neither do apparitions of women with hymens fully intact. So it makes perfect sense that Shakira’s second cousin, Carolina Name, would claim that the Virgin Mary appears and speaks to her. 

Carolina says the Virgin first appeared to her in 1989, when was 14 years old. She is one of only three people whose claims of seeing holy apparitions have been accepted by the Catholic Church in Colombia.

The young woman, who shares her cousin’s Lebanese Catholic heritage, says that the Virgin appears to her, speaks to her as if whispering in her ear, and also speaks through her, using Carolina’s voice to communicate her messages to others. Carolina claims the Virgin appears to her so that she may let the world know that God exists.

Oh, it’s… working.

Perhaps most interestingly, Carolina says Shakira also has a special role in getting the Virgin Mary’s message out. Name recalls praying by a lake with Shakira (as cousins do) and seeing a vision of all of Shakira’s success to come. She then informed Shak Attack that the Virgin informed her that many people would find God through her. 

Which is so true. We’ve known many who have professed feeling a great stirring sensation when watching Shakira belly dance a reverse cowgirl on stage while informing us that it’s pretty good we don’t confuse her breasts with mountains.
