Sonia Sotomayor Passes Senate Committee, Moves On To Lightning Round

Sonia Sotomayor’s future with the Supreme Court of the United States is as good as gold after the Senate Judiciary Committee voted 13-6 in favor of her wise Latinness gracing the highest court in the land. Her nomination now advances to the full Senate, where she’s expected to be confirmed easily next week. Celebratory nachos all around.
