Maria Belen Chapur Is Rumored To Be In South Carolina

While Jenny Sanford is talking about empathy for her philandering husband in this month’s Vogue, rumor has it that Mark Sanford the governor and latin lover of South Carolina, has moved his Argentine girlfriend, Maria Belen Chapur, stateside. Rumors are so persistent that paparazzi have descended on Columbia like grits on gravy.  With national gossip publications offering top dollar for photos of Sanford and Chapur together, we have to wonder who will be the first to snap a pic of the first mistress with her southern beau. According to South Carolina political gossip site FITS, the couple is possibly being harbored by South Carolina senator Greg Ryberg in Aiken county, but others say they are hiding out with Sanford’s “spiritual advisor” Cubby Culbertson whose spiritual advice thus far has obviously been, “follow your dick.” Oh, why must America play these silly, Victorian games?
