Spaniards Rule Vanity Fair’s 2009 International Best Dressed List

Vanity Fair has come out with their annual list of the best dressed people in the whole entire universe and, surprise! Everyone on the list is 1) wealthy and 2) thin. The list includes four Spaniards and one Colombian, all of whom are light-skinned and don’t seem to dress any differently or more uniquely than any other rich person. 

Let’s check them out!

Princess Letizia

Leitiza is a former journalist who is married to Prince Felipe of Asturias. She wears nice clothes, sometimes.

Penelope Cruz

Penelope is a famous actress. Who is currently pregnant. 

Alejandro Santo Domingo

Son of Panamanian-born Colombian businessman Julio Mario Santo Domingo, Alejandro is set to inherit a fortune thanks to his dad’s holdings in over 100 different companies. He once dated model Eugenia Silva.

Paloma Cuevas & Enrique Ponce

Alfonso Enrique Ponce Martínez is a famous (read: hot) bullfighter who is married to a celebrated (read: hot) lady named Paloma Cuevas. They are hot.

Obviously, this list is woefully incomplete. No “Best Dressed” list is worth looking at unless it includes one Latina in particular. That’s right, you guessed it:

But, seriously, we see what Vanity Fair is doing here. And we know being on this list has very little to do with what one wears. But we suppose “List of Attractive Wealthy People” would have been a hard sell.
