Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah is where Melanie Griffith checked into rehab this week for treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. But rich movie stars don’t get sober the way regular people do. When they hit bottom, they go all the way to the top of drug rehab comfort–at Cirque Lodge. Cirque used to be an Osmond television studio, (yes, those Osmonds), and was purchased in 2000 and converted into this:

A 30-day stay at the Cirque Lodge studio costs $20,000 for primary care, $13,950 for extended care. But that’s just the studio. Get a load of the lodge and all its amenities:

The lodge costs $26, 000 for a thirty-day stay and $865 per day for additional treatment. It sounds pretty posh, but actually Promises in Malibu costs $38, 000 for a thirty-day stay. Something to do with the cost of real estate, we’re sure. But the benefit of Cirque is that it’s low-key and out of the way. Or was out of the way. With the internet and loud-mouth publicists, it wasn’t hard to find the location of this place. Must be why they chauffeur all their patients around in these:

The website says they take patients up in this helicopter, nicknamed The Rainbow, to give them a “once-in-a-lifetime spiritual experience.” What ever happened to meditation?
