Fun Facts From Florida: We Get To Make Burt Reynolds Rehabulous

Sad news: Burt Reynolds was found semiconscious and covered in blood after falling in his home following a binge on alcohol and pills. Good news: He’s currently seeking treatment for his addictions. Better news: He’s seeking treatment in Florida. While other stars treat their “exhaustion” on mountaintops in Utah or amid Los Angeles’ characteristic rolling… smog… he’s bucked the trend and gone South.
Reynolds was initially sent to a mental health facility because his behavior had been so erratic. Caretakers there reportedly refused to release the star until he agreed to enter a rehabilitation facility.
Luckily, he agreed. And we hope he gets well soon, because we’d hate to live in a world without him. No one else can play with whipped cream while wearing a shiny suit and still not manage to make our gaydar explode. And that’s saying something, because we tend to think (hope?) everyone is gay:

Have you seen this amazingness? http://burtreynoldsmuseum.org/ I’ll be in FL this weekend and really wanted to visit. I’m crushed to hear he’s in rehab. Almost doesn’t seem worth it to make the trip if there’s no chance of running into the Man Himself. Auditing his class is criminally cheap as well. (I don’t remember how much exactly but it’s on the site - it’s just annoying to navigate on my phone when the Internet is slow like right now - and it’s shockingly low.) I must do it before I die.
