fame_2009Well, kiddos, we’re sorry you don’t get to have your own pop culture memories because you’re being forced by Hollywood to re-use all of ours, like some kind of tattered OshKosh B’gosh hand-me-downs. Fame the remake of Fame from 1980 is about to come out in theaters and with it comes this music video for a slowed down, hip-hop version of the same theme song, “Fame (Remember My Name),” originally sung by Irene Cara now performed by co-stars Naturi Naughton and Collins Pennie. We suppose it’s a sign that humans, as a race, have come to the end of our creative potential, so God may as well strike us dead with global warming and swine flu.
