Genesis Rodriguez Given The Boot By Telemundo

Rumor has it that telenovela actress (and, as it so happens, our former schoolmate) Genesis Rodriguez was kicked off the set of El Clon after filming the series’ promo because producers could not deal with her attitude. The Spanish-language version of El Clon, based on (or, one might say, a clone of… chortle!) the very popular Brazilian novela O Clone is set to air sometime in 2010, with Sandra Echeverria taking on the role of “super exotic Muslimah #1″ originally set to be played by Genesis. We kid, of course. The character’s name is as typically Middle Eastern as one would expect: Jade.
The young actress was described as putting on airs after filming the promo to the point that Telemundo was like “Girl, please. You ain’t no Thalia. You can start acting a fool when there are rumors about you removing a rib.”
Fortunately, you can still witness Genesis’ fine acting work in this superfantabulous promo for the telenovela, which we are sure you will replay on a loop for the rest of your life:

I don’t know how I feel about this remake. I liked the original novela a lot and am scared.
Hopefully it won’t be too bad.
I was so looking forward to watching it but now because genesis rodriguez isn’t in it I def. won’t be…by the way this article is a lie. she left to be with her new fiance’ she was never “kicked of because of her attitude”!!!
HAHAHAHA,,,,,LOL….Thalia!!! Thalia SUCKS only los Mexicans from the ghetto likes Thalia. Thalia is a BAD actress. Everyone knows that. El Clon 2001 rocks. The script, the actors,scenery everything was the best. Thalia es una actriz terrible. Solo los Mexicanos pobres les gusta la Thalia……………El Clon - 2001 es el mejor.
