Jimmy Carter has finally stepped forward to call "racism" against the right wingnuts who are acting out at town hall meetings, spreading propaganda about President Obama, and generally holding shit up for the rest of us who really need health insurance. "There is an inherent feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be president," he said in an interview with MSNBC. Well, we're glad a former president said it, but it's nothing everyone didn't already know. It's interesting to note that when we left the event, we stopped for gas less than five miles away where we encountered a convenience store full of young, working class Latinos.
