Mariah Carey Wants To Be A Mom To Someone Other Than Nick Cannon

In an interview appearing in the latest issue of InTouch, Mariah Carey says she’s really looking forward to being a mother and waxes poetic about her perfect life and marriage to Nick Cannon and blahbbity blah in eight octaves. 

Mariah and Nick both say they’re ready to create a womb demon together, despite disagreeing over where they’d raise the thing (she says New York, he wants LA). They’re planning for two kids and say they’ve had the names picked out since before they were married, adding they won’t reveal what they are because “they’re special names we want to hold onto.” You know it’s going to be something like “Lyric Luna” or “Niriah.” Ten dollars says their firstborn will be named “Precious Glitter.” But only if it’s a boy.

InTouch then asked the couple a question we found to be potentially embarrassing:

Mariah, could you let Nick be the sole breadwinner and just be a mom?

No, because fool doesn’t even know how to tie his shoes yet. And then there was this:

So you could see yourself having one by the end of 2010?

Mariah: Yeah. What do you think?

Nick: I think that’s what the world is waiting for.

Mariah: Oh, my goodness, that’s so much pressure on our kids!

We rolled our eyes so hard we think the left one came loose.

The only reason we’d want this baby thing to happen is because Jennifer Lopez has, frankly, dropped the ball when it’s come to exploiting her womb trolls in the press. We’ve yet to have a photoshoot in Hola with her twins dressed as tiny version of her and Marc in El Cantante. We have a sneaking suspicion that Mariah wouldn’t let us down like this. 

Also, anyone who professes that having a baby will “make life complete” is going to have a rude awakening the first time she comes face-to-fondi with baby diarrhea at 3 a.m.
