Nacho Figueras Is Now Being Googled By Your Mom

Argentine Polo stud Nacho Figueras was on CBS Sunday Morning today where former MTV News person Serena Altschul cemented him as every well-bred woman of a certain age’s Harlequin fantasy.

“Fashion Week in New York City, filled with beautiful clothes and beautiful people . . . and among them, one person stands out,” she coos. “I just met Nacho!” the society girls scream at the Ralph Lauren Polo, uh, polo match.

“Are you here for polo or Nacho?” Altschul asked one woman.

“A little bit of both!” she laughed.

Well, duh. Chicks don’t like sports they like sensuous, Argentine mallets. And now Nacho Figueras is the #67 search trend on Google since about 6 this morning. They’re even googling “Nacho Figuera wife,” just in case. (Sorry, ladies. He’s taken.) But success wasn’t always so forthcoming for the beautiful Nacho. It seems he was born to a middle class family where he only had one horse and one polo shirt.

I had this polo shirt that my uncle gave me for my birthday. I remember it was a white- and green-striped polo shirt, with a little polo player on it. And I thought it was so cool. It was in Argentina, we didn’t have that many. They were expensive. So that was, like, my treasured shirt that I had.
