Today is National Guacamole Day. Apparently. And like all proud, American traditions, it was created by someone who wants you to buy their product. In this case, it seems the culprit is Wholly Guacamole. Now, we can’t say we approve of pre-made, pre-packaged guacamole, but if Wholly Guacamole wants to send us a package for a taste test, we’ll make the interns eat it. i too had the reservations about pre-packaged guac, but i must say, wholly guacamole is actually pretty good. even better if you use it as a base and just add to it what you like.
