Ay Dios: Teen Boy Cries Blood, Brings Up Nightmares About Our Catholic Upbringing

Hey! You know what’s terrifying? Catholicism. We grew up with tales about Jesus crying blood (for you), and San Lazaro being all full of weeping boils and welts and probably smelling like caca while crawling through your bedroom window and advising you not to have premarital relations. Or something.
Perhaps growing up on stories that made the Brothers Grimm look like Mr. Rogers makes us extra-sensitive to the horrors of the following video, in which a 15-year-old boy cries tears of blood. “Sometimes,” he says, “it stings.” Oh. Lord:
Poor guy. We hope someone finds out what the hell is going on with his face and makes it stop. How many Hail Marys will make this go away?

He’s a vampire, obvs. Anybody ever watch True Blood!?!? Them vamps are crying blood like every episode.
This crap scared me more than anything else. The original “Halloween”, “It”, and “The Shining” had no effect on me. One f’ing documentary (I think it was a 20/20 ’special’) on Catholic ‘unexplained’ mysteries like Stigmata and bleeding statues scared the shit out of me…. and still does.
