We know public opinion regarding this episode vacillates somewhere between snide chucking over Tyra’s tremendous ego and applause that a highly visible public figure is stripping down the veneer of unattainable beauty inherent in her industry. Personally, we think the issue of fake hair and “good” hair - and the racial, cultural and socio-economic baggage the wearing of hair pieces and wigs brings with it where women are concerned - is better handled by Chris Rock in the film Good Hair. Take a peek:
