Breaking: Wallace Souza Is On The Lam

Remember journalist of the year, Brazilian Wallace Souza who gave the ultimate sacrifice for his job? Okay, he didn’t sacrifice his own life, but those of some drug dealers and other Brazilian ne’er-do-wells in order to feature them for his TV crime show. Heretofore he had escaped being arrested for ordering the hits because of legislative immunity, (Yes, he was also a legislator for the state of Amazonas.), but he was ejected from the legislature on Friday and police issued a warrant for his arrest yesterdday, but he is nowhere to be found.

Agents say they haven’t yet been able to find Wallace Souza and they are staking out an airport in Manaus.

Monday’s arrest warrant lists charges of drug trafficking, gang formation and weapons possession.

Anybody see any suspiciously oversized baggage in that airport, give us a call.
